Went there about a case which we paid $200 for an hour. But we was told she couldn't take the case she kept saying how much she charged which was no problem at all we was out probably within 35 to 40 minutes. I don't think they should charge you the whole amount if they not going to take your case. We end up getting another attorney who listen and didn't charge us nothing up front.

The consultation fee covers up to an hour of time to review your situation, answer questions, and provide legal guidance whether or not I’m ultimately able to take the case. Sometimes, after hearing all the details, it becomes clear that moving forward together isn’t the right fit, but I still aim to offer as much clarity and direction as possible during that time.
Typically, I only mention fees once, but I’ll take the criticism to heart if it felt like it came up more than necessary and I’ll be mindful of that moving forward. I also encourage transparency, and if there was a concern in the moment, I would’ve appreciated the chance to talk through it and see if we could work something out.

I had been waiting 5 years to divorce my husband before contacting Minor Law Firm. From the first consultation to the final hearing, her team has been amazing. She has been a breeze to work with. She's been straightforward with what documents I needed to provide, important dates, and definitely keeps you in the loop with progress of the case. She definitely looked out for the best interest for me and my children and helped us to reach the custody agreement that I wanted and was the perfect lawyer for my case. Her prices are reasonable and her team doesn't leave you questioning where your retainer went to. Everything was going well in my view went to mediation. It didn’t work out. Next thing I knew Miss Minor removed herself off the case, took all my money cost me over $30,000 to get another attorney she fired me for no reason worst experience.
